SOOOOOO FIERCE !!!

I wasn't expecting the cover of Madonna's new Album MDNA to be this fierce and really beautiful, The last one Hard Candy is kinda shit with M looking like an old whore posing with legs open wide, as if waiting for a client, but she really outdid herself as this is probably one of her best album cover since Ray of Light. She is definitely back. I'm just hoping that the new single "Give Me All Your Luvin" would blow us fans over because the demo leaked is kinda weak although my friend Kaela did praise it and believe me when I say that I do subscribe to Kaela's music tastes and he's not even a fan. But wait I just remembered Kaela also likes Jolina Magdangal LOL.... In any case I do want to greet Kaela Belated Happy Birthday BFF...

M on RICKY GERVAIS Intro

Love this the Queen is so witty, So Ricky Gervais have found his match. And I do love Ricky's "Not You Elton thingie LOL

MADONNA WINS GOLDEN GLOBE FOR MASTERPIECE

WooHoo
Great way to start the week, The Queen won for Best Song for Masterpiece at The Golden Globe Awards.

Although there were some negativity coming from Elton John when interviewed pre show by Carson Daly.
Elton said "She doesn't stand a fucking chance". Carson Daly went on to say "Those are fighting words." and Elton replied by saying "No, they are accurate words."

Unfortunately for him M did win and even very gracious on Elton's rant at the interview backstage when asked about Elton's comment.
Very classy of the Queen actually.

The expression on his face while M is accepting the Award is simply priceless LOL
Long Live the QUEEN!!!

HOUSE of REDUCTIVE

Whoah! Lady GaGa's House Of Monster is so up in arms with the Queens interviews that they are so fuming mad and spewing acid on their twitter accounts and other social media.

I was quite shocked considering that its just a side note and a comment on one song which personally, I think is a rip off of Express Yourself to begin with LOL.

And I didn't know that a word like "REDUCTIVE" could actually spark so much controversy.

Instead of Lady GaGa's House of Monster , I think it would be better to call her House of Reductive as her fans are oh so lame.

If one actually watch the whole thing especially the ABC interviews by Cynthia McFadden the Queen actually have good words for GaGa.

Some of the twits came from GaGa's friend Lady Starlight whom I am totally clueless who she is up until now. (Well at least she gets publicity by slamming the Queen, cause she's a total nobody and she does look like shiet LOL
According to her twit to DJ Shadow with a link from YouTube.

@DJWS this pretty much sums it all up for me: youtu.be/Vq-NIrgg9kU via @youtube i miss u soo much!!

https://twitter.com/LADYSTARLIGHTNY

And of course theres DJ White Shadow, who produced Lady Gaga's Born This Way album.
"I obviously do not hate Madonna, or belittle her talent or achievements, however, if she thinks we stole a song from her she is wrong."

And he also tweeted a rude tweet: "And obviously: someone should take there old lady meds before they are allowed to talk in public. No memories having motherfucker." SO Ageist....

Heres another quote fro DJ Shadow
All I can say is DEFENSIVE MUCH? And oh also I didnt know GaGa invented Dance music LOL

"It was a bummer for me when everyone was saying it sounded like a Madonna song. If you know one thing about me, it is that I am absolutely not influenced by Madonna. I think it was bullshit to be honest. I guess there are a hundred songs that you could put a pitch shift and a BPM change on and loop and make them sound like anything. In addition, there are 5 songs on the radio right now that have the exact same chords and progression. Actually there are 5 songs out that are exactly the same song, on the radio at the same time. Right now. Why doesn’t anyone ever bring that up? Thatis a fucking felony. Lets talk about that! As an added note, how many people have been copying Gaga since she came out? Oh, I have that answer: everyone. Have you seen all the lightning bolts painted on faces, or the one hand eye cover ups during photos, or the exact same promo posters being put up as Gaga’s, or the new popularity of unicorns, or the copycat fake “Oh I’m so cool with the gay community” rhetoric? Or how about the fact that there was barely any dance music on the radio until “Just Dance” came out? Come on motherfuckers, let’s keep it real here. If we are going to talk about who is chasing who, I think we all know the answer to that. So yeah, she did something new, and people had to reach back 20+ years to find a song that could have possibly sounded like it, and that made news? Come on."

And I am assuming they will again be up in arms especially with UK's The MIRROR Interview when M actually declared Love for Adele the other artist that the House Of Reduction is so pissed off for clobbering GaGa's album in the charts. According to the Queen's quote “I love Adele. I think she’s amazing and has an incredible voice. She impresses me most out of the new artists today.” Bwahahaha to GaGa.

On a final note I think the word REDUCTIVE is actually oh so fitting GaGa. I mean for crying out loud her album sold at Amazon for freakin 99 Cents LOL

Madonna on THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW

This Interview is so fun much more relaxed than the ABC Interviews (Nightline,GMA,20/20).
I like it its just that the cheeks are more pronounced here maybe the lighting.

EXCITED MUCH.....

With the upcoming album, new movie, the new single,The Super Bowl Performance and the tour....I cant possibly hide my utter excitement. LUV U my Queen.

WOO HOOOOOO Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THREE HUNDRED SIXTY DEGREES....

Remember Chris Crocker, The Britney Spears fan who defended Brit during her melt down, tears and all in youtube way back 2007

Well were in for a big surprise as Chris is looking mighty fine as a straight acting gay guy and apparently he will be starring in porn very soon.

And he sings also with a new track that kinda Britneyesque sounding track but with a male voice singing it.

Although in an interview from HUFFINGTON POST he mentioned that he hates it when people are saying that he's changed a lot and so hot right now,
I do agree with them. Chris's 360 degree turn from his former looks (tranny, drag whatever its called) left me in awe at the same time my jaw dropped when I saw Chris looking like some pretty boy next door.

I wonder what porn company will he do his movie? I would surely want to see him in action LOL
Will it be Randy Blue,Corbin Fisher or will he do it with the major gay porn production company such as Falcon, Vivid etc?
Anyways, I really couldn't care less I'm sure its gonna show up somewhere in the internet sooner or later. :)
Lastly I do applaud his stand and advocacy on HIV/AIDS as shown in his video Know Your Status. The things hes saying are actually happening here in the Philippines thats why the demographics of 18 to 21 years old is the highest in the incidence of HIV/AIDS in the P.I.

And so it Begins..

The Queen is so back...
2012 will be a banner year for the Queen of Pop, A new movie she directed, The Super bowl Performance, New single "Give Me All your Luvin", A new Album and last but not the least a new tour which is rumored to touch down in Manila very soon wiiiiiiiiii.

A slew of promo interviews is also on the line up first of which is the ABC NIGHTLINE interview with Cynthia McFadden.
As they say, And so it begins......

Thirty Years too late?

During the early 80's when I was but a little boy one of the artist that I really admire was Cyndi Lauper, of course along with Culture Club and a host of boy bands that invaded America and was dubbed as the second coming of the British Invasion (From Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, The Smiths , The Clash, Depeche Mode etc.) The first of course was the Beatles in the 60's.

Before MADONNA Cyndi was the it girl for me. I remember dancing to Girls just wanna have fun and She Bop and emoting to Time After Time. The girl is so cool and having Lou Albano play her dad in the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun video made her seemed cooler as most kids that time is oh so obsessed with Wrestling via Hulk Hogan, Lou Albano ,Andre the Giant etc.
She is simply one of a kind, with the funky wacky style, Red hair shaved on the side and a voice thats angelic at the same time banshee like thats a signature vocal style all her own.

She had a string of hits and seemed to be destined for greatness From the aforementioned Girls Just wanna have fun which is iconic in itself up to True Colors.

Then something happened after the sophomore album it seemed Cyndi got stuck on the persona she created ( Paging GaGa bwahahaha). The kooky punk rocker chick seemed to start fading as the eighties drew to a close. I of course still followed her career even though at that time I'm simply hooked to the Queen of Pop ( MADONNA Motha f_ckers not Gaga)LOL.

Although she did release some critically acclaimed albums after True Colors, she never did get to the mega stardom that most people critics and fans alike expected of her when she was starting. Although I have to say that her version of I Drove All Night trumps Celine's yucky version.
And judging her body of work and the compilation Twelve Deadly Cyns she did very good and has cemented her stature as an icon.

Anyways as I am writing this Cyndi is slated to perform here in Manila this coming March. Although of course I am looking forward to seeing her the question comes to my mind is "Is she thirty years too late"?

I know it had been a vicious cycle here in the Philippines to bring has beens and make them perform, And the artists would say why they hadn't visited the country earlier when even their lesser known singles the audience knows the lyrics ( Thanks to Jingle Song Hits )LOL.
But I think its not, Cyndi for all its worth is gonna be worth it and it would be a good time to reminisce and sing Time After Time to her....Plus her other hits of course.

I'll start looking for my old Jingle Song Hits na LOL

Au Naturel

Much had been said about the maligned cover photographs of Charice Pempengco and Jinkee Pacquiao in two of the country's leading Fashion rag Preview & Mega respectively. Accusations of overly photo-shopping and air brushing was hurled at the said covers by the general public. In defense the publishers of the said magazines released a video of the photo shoot to dispel the accusations.

But then again I think that there is no need for the said defense from the Mega and Summit Publications, primarily because those are fashion shoots or rather beauty shots for as mentioned fashion magazines , I actually would be surprised if no airbrushing or photo shop is done and the two ladies showed up on the cover Au naturel. That would be shocking indeed.

Plus the fact that the video released is also altered especially Charice's. Which reminds me of the Mariah Carey video wherein stills showing Ms. Carey with her gut hanging out really fat and flabby but when the final video was released she was elongated and slender and if you put it in reverse thats what happened to Charice only this time both medium the cover photo and the video is altered.

And case to point the covers as mentioned are Beauty shots and not really endorsing any beauty products, Air brushing and photoshop is part and parcel in making the cover attractive to readers of the rag and we do live in the Philippines where the ad board is not that strict I mean if it were a product endorsement and were in UK definitely it would suffer the fate of the L'Oreal Julia Roberts Christy Turlington's ads that was eventually pulled out due to overly airbrushed images.

Bottom line is if the public doesn't like the pictures they see then don't buy it. Personally i think the pictures looks great and actually beautiful but i do agree that it was photo shopped but I don't really care. I wouldn't wanna see Charice looking like a SIOPAO on the cover of a magazine.
The Jinkee pictures reminds me of Tina Maristela when she used to model. Fierce actually as Tyra always say in ANTM.

Disclaimer: I actually don't like both ladies but I'm just confused that it had become a hot issue even trending on twitter. Its a freakin Beauty shot and if a dash of airbrushing and Photoshop is what it takes to make the cover attractive then i don't see a problem in it. Just don't do a Demi Moore where in a chunk of her hip was chopped in the W cover LOL. But wait, Isn't it that is what exactly what they did on Charice's face thats why theres a Jaw and high cheekbone where theres none before hehehe.

And now lets talk about Sharon Cuneta's Marie France ad BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!

SAWA

Happy New Year!!!

Yes its that time again wherein one does the Filipino tradition of celebrating the New Year.
OK, generally before 12 midnight everything should be prepared so I did a checklist.
1. 12 circular fruits check
2. Barya in the bulsa check
3. The Media Noche feast check
4. Shirt with the color of the year check (I just think the polka dots are simply tacky)
5. The animal symbol for the year check (It's the water Dragon for this year, not really Filipino but then again no harm in trying and wishing for good luck)
6.the sound system check (ready to play Katy Perry's Firework once the time hits the 11:45 pm mark on repeat mode until 12 midnight.
7. Greet friends on FB Happy New Year before 12 midnight check (Before it was the ready forwarded Happy New Year message on the cellphone but now I guess FB had overtaken that tradition)
8.Fireworks check
9. Champagne check Not really traditional Filipino but ever since I can afford to buy a nice bottle of champagne I adopted it.
9. Firecrackers (paputok) check

And no I am not being an advocate for not using firecrackers but rather I am missing one family member this Media Noche.
My brother is on his night-shift duty on the 31'st. He works for a B.P.O. & as it goes their work schedule is jive with their American employers thats why hes on duty New Years eve.
I'm kinda sad cause this is the first year that were not complete .

Although I am quite irritated with the ear splitting "SAWA" that my brother usually sets off once it strikes 12 midnight i kinda miss it, And more so my brother during this times when one celebrates the ending of a year and the start of a new one. I just had to console myself that the food we prepared for the feast will be my brother's baon so at least he can celebrate New Year with his co workers.

I could just imagine my friends abroad whose celebrating New Year away from their family.....
Heart breaking really but then again I guess my brother is an adult already and not the little boy I used to take care of.
Plus the fact that we had been celebrating Christmases and New years with out a mom for the nth time already and it would be lucky that my mom would come back home every three years, so i think one just have to get used to the situation.

Sad but I'm still positive and looking forward to a better year and a complete family when 2013 arrives....

CHEERS!!!!
