Hayyysss the pitfalls of being a grown up. I so envy my nephew whose sound asleep and enjoying the cold weather because classes are suspended in all levels.

I hate it that I have all this gadgets (I pad 2, I phone, laptops,nokia/ericsson phones) that somewhat rely on wifi to be connected and I dont have a freakin wifi connection at home. I actually bought a router but apparently my PLDT DSL is not compatible.

I so envy my friend kaela who has Globe wifi at home and really very fast at that.

I kinda feel like the Venus de Milo statue at the Louvre Pretty ka nga wala ka namang kamay LOL


And what really irritates me is that I cant use my Grindr account Waaaaaa....

I'm still reeling from the Kylie Minogue Concert in Manila two weeks ago. And while waiting for a client i happen to pass by in one of those quaint stores in Cubao that sells imported Cd's.

I know i know the new generation is more on electronic downloads but I still cherish as a matter of fact enjoys buying physical CD's.

So I was pleasantly surprised to come across a rare Kylie CD that's exclusively released in Japan.

It's Kylie Hits CD + DVD.To my surprise the contents are practically the set list that she sang during the Manila Concert except for the newer tracks from the Aphrodite album. And the DVD contains the video of all the song in the CD. And to top it all I got it for 300 pesos a little over $8 if one converts it to US currency.

Simple joys but I guess things such as this makes life bearable living in the P.I.

So PNoy did his SONA yesterday quite witty actually If I may say so.Although its bordering on a balding middle aged man's rant lol.

But then again I do have some reservations with his speech, with the country's current situation all I can say is As Long as Poverty is still In Your Face staring at you everywhere in the Philippines No Filipino President have a right to boast of the achievements of their administration...No pun intended but this is Reality....

I really cant help myself being cynical and jaded about our countries Leaders as time and again ever since I was born they never fail to disappoint me....Although I would say Ramos would be an exception(Although Ms. Defensor Santiago would definitely disagree LOL).

But heck Pnoy have 5 years in office so might as well give him the benefit of the doubt. But I just remembered Does my friend Nelly have to wait for five long years before the NAIA restrooms be improved? Do I have to wait five years before our roads be pot holes free, Do I have to wait five years for me to enjoy my drive without encountering beggars in the street. It seems so far away......

Touched For The Very First Time

Queen of Pop, Material girl, Dita,Evita, Veronica Electronica, Top Selling Female artist of all time, Most succesful Female Act Of All Time. etc....
She's practically done it all. But I'm feeling quite nostalgic and wanna go back to the time I was touched by her presence for the firs time. It was around 1984 and there's this noontime show called Student canteen and one segment of the said show is that they preview new videos coming from the States.
If i remember it right it was Bobby Ledesma hosting and he introduced this girl whom he mentioned is an upcoming artist that's very hot in the US at that time.And introduced her as MADONNA which quite intrigued me since the Philippines is a Roman Catholic country the name Madonna is only associated with the Virgin Mary and how dare this girl to use such a holy name.
the host went on and the video was for the song Burning Up.
So I intently sat to watch the video,
To be honest as a young Catholic Gay boy seeing this slutty girl writhing and prancing on the road makes me squirm and a little uneasy not to mention that my aunts were even scandalized that this girl was named after the virgin and doing all those slutty moves.
The first encounter was ambivalent actually, the song was catchy I would say but her name, her moves kinda awakened my traditional catholic guilt. But I'd have to say that the fascination started with that, And by the time Borderline was released i was hooked.....FOR LIFE.

PISSED....

I'm just so pissed with whats happening with my life. I never thought that when I reach this age I would have so many dissatisfaction and regrets. But I am still hopeful that things would turn around and Lady Luck would smile at me.
Lately I had been having a string of unfortunate events and misfortunes due primarily to my indecisiveness and wrong decisions. I just hope a year from now I will be looking back and smile and count all these as experiences on my way to nirvana Bwahahaha...

I just have to carry For tomorrow is another day......
