GOING TO THE MOVIES

Oh OK I admit it, I read all the books of the Twilight Saga....
I also admit that I did enjoy it with all of its vampire mushy crap in it.
Guilty as charged.
But one thing that I was never able to do is watch the movies in Theaters. In the past I was only able to watch the first four installment of the movie in DVD.
But this time its gonna be different as I am finally going to see the final installment in a cinema. Yes yes yes I am going to the movies to watch "Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2" in a theater. Bwahahaha.

UPDATE:

The movie was all I expected it to be except for the last part towards the climax/ending. For those who have read the book it was a wild roller coaster ride. I guess they had to enliven the final battle for cinematic purposes. Watch it, may not be as good as Harry Potter but still enjoyable.Besides one shouldnt expect much from Shining Shimmering Vampires LOL.
On a side note wouldnt it be fierce if some of the beloved characters dies in the end. I personally wouldnt have minded a bit more bloodshed in my Twilight Bwahahaha
But then again Twihards would definitely go apeshit and may behead me in the process ala Carlisle

MAGIC MIKE First Look...

I am simply drooling over this movie. Imagine Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello ,Matt Bomer, Matthew McConaughey and Adam Rodriguez in their tighty whities and in a series of state of undress. I am so watching this. And lest we might forget this is not some run of the mill stripper movie as its directed by none other than Steven Soderbergh .

PART OF ME

So Katy Perry will be releasing a concert movie and its entitled "Part Of Me".
From the trailer it looks delicious and good enough to eat as its bursting with really bright rainbow colors and not to mention that its in 3D.

And apparently Katy Perry did say that the Concert movie was partially inspired by the Queen of Pop’s 1991 film “Truth or Dare.”

In contrast to Truth Or Dare which was shot mostly in black & White with only the concert footage's in color, Katy's movie as mentioned is in full on bright color mode.

I actually like Katy Perry as she's laid back with not that much pretense and drama to her persona. Her songs are simple, never pretentious and is catchy as hell, which is probably the reason why she had been racking up those number 1's in the Billboard Music Charts and all over the world for that matter.
And I do give her props for acknowledging Madonna as one of her major influences but at the same time doing her own thing without copying anybody not like some other pop princesses that claims to be original but in truth just a reductive copy of the Queen (The Nerve).

BTW, the Blu-ray version of Madonna's Truth or Dare is also set to be released this month also.

Really? Seriously?

Like seriously the latest incarnation of Snow White is freakin kidding when they cast Twilight's Kristin Stewart as Snow White then cast Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen, to say that Ms. Stewart is the fairer of the two is simply hilarious.
I know Kristin is hot right now but really? Seriously are you fucking kidding me? The trailer looks good but I can’t get over the fact that Kristin, fairer than Charlize.

Maybe the fairer adjective is in reference to Kristin's skin coloring
And Charlize does look bronzed out in the movie. But for crying out loud she is so damn pretty in the movie or maybe they are referring to Charlize in her Oscar winning role in "Monster" where she got so fat and really ugly. Anyways I’d probably still watch "Snow White & The Huntsman" if only for Charlize and the uber gorgeous Chris Hemsworth....

BIAS

The Official trailer for Madonna's "W.E" is finally out. After the initial clips and the supposed trailer that was used for bookers we now have the offish. The trailer is made more contemporary as oppose to the initial artsy approach given to the first one and I simply think this is way better...but then again I'm a Madonna fan I'll eat anything that the bitch will serve so "Bias" is generally the operational term for my take on the trailer LOL.

SCATHING!!!!

After the glowing review from The Daily Mail ,the review's that follows are simply scathing and downright demolition job on the W.E. film.
I had high hopes for the film maybe not Oscar worthy but at least viewable and worth watching but with the critics damning it even before its theatrical release I'm kinda saddened by the turn of events. Especially after the screening of the film for critics in Venice.
But I'm not losing hope as it was mentioned when it was screened for the Festivals audience it actually got a standing ovation. Which I think is very important if the normal moviegoers liked it as opposed to critics liking it.
I have already accepted the fact that since this is a Madonna project this will take a lot of beating from critics.
Borrowing from a line from Awards Daily would sum up in a nutshell the Reviews for W.E.
"As for the fate of Madonna’s W.E. – you’re probably looking at a costume nod perhaps. The thing about Madonna is that they’re never going to cut her any slack. She will always be laughed at when she tries to do anything but dance around in her underwear. It’s just the good and the bad of what and who she is. She’s made her bed and not only has to lie in it — she can expect to be handcuffed spreadeagled to the headboard."
Anyways I sure am gonna watch this come December and hopefully enjoy it as what movies ought to do.
